Column Grouting in Southern River

AMS Seal recently completed this project, column grouting in Southern River for Alcove Engineering and Construction earlier this month.

We were asked to oversee the column foundations for the structural framework and to ensure the column base connections were sufficiently supported.

Under consultation with our supplier we opted to use the Aftek Penaflow GP Construction Grout as it superseded the requirements for the structural design.

Column grouting is a paramount step in the foundational stage of large construction worksites, as the contact between the steel plates and the concrete slab can, at times, require a higher MPA and creates the cornerstone for all other future trades in the construction process.
