•  Patching – This is the main type of concrete repair that AMS Seal usually get asked to quote on and is normally done so at an hourly rate. We can make the patch look as good as the customer requires. Two examples of how this can be done The first one is prime the patch then install a High Build repair mortar let that go off then apply a fairing coat let that go off and come back and sand or alternatively for a lot cheaper we lightly wet area and then patch flush with a HB repair mortar or grout and job is done. Two different ways two very different prices but we have the capabilities of doing the job however the client requires.

•  Crack Injection – This is a system that is used to structurally repair concrete panels or floors to stop them from moving. Are a few different suppliers’ systems we can use but typically involves grinding out crack epoxying on injection nipples then patch filling crack and around the nipples waiting for it all to set coming in normally the next day injecting the nipples with a liquid flowable epoxy then to come in the day after and grind off epoxy residue and patch any nipple holes.

•  Concrete Cancer – This problem is predominant around Perth near coastal areas or areas that concrete without any protection is exposed to water over long periods of time. As each of these jobs is different and can require a lot of different aspects outside of spec such as painting and plastering is more challenging to explain the process as each individual job is a different process but typically involves cutting the concrete back around the affected steel and either removing and replacing rio by drilling and epoxy anchoring in steel pins and using steel treatment on new rio and replacing. Then reinstate broken out areas with a High build repair mortar Making sure all metal is fully incased.

•  LV Injection – Without making this sound more complicated than it needs to be. Stands for Low Viscosity injection. A great system to use in underground carparks or basements where water is coming up through the concrete due to fluctuations in the water table. Being Low Viscosity meaning that is thinner that water so to speak these products react and expand with water on contact making a once wet crack properly sealed. Most of Perth arena’s car park as had Kilometers of this installed as it was getting built.
