Waterproofing in Rivervale

We were recently contacted for waterproofing in Rivervale at this residential renovation.

We were asked to waterproof the shower recess and wet areas of the bathroom. To seal the perimeter of the area, faucet outlets and internal recess, we used bandaging and a high grade sealer to ensure the junction points were impermeable.

Then, working from those points outward, we incorporated the whole internal high volume wet area to create a complete waterproof seal using WPA400 that would be the basis of the shower renovation and tiling to come.

By being highly vigilant at this stage, we can be confident that the renovation has the foundation necessary to uphold and withstand the intended use of daily heat, moisture and traffic of a functional bathroom wet area for many years to come.
