Waterproofing in Wanneroo

The team at AMS were recently called out to a private apartment complex for waterproofing in Wanneroo.

The complex along Wanneroo Road, had water pooling in the storage section, resulting in water ingress and issues with drainage.

After diagnosing the issue, we then need to start rectification works. We decided that it was necessary to first drop the height of the drains to accommodate for the water flow. Then we created a slight elevation of the header pavers to encourage the water to flow in the correct direction. Following this we then joint sealed the complex to the paving perimeter.

To finish off the job nicely the client also opted for us to pavelock the existing paving for a secure foundation to stabilise the area.

The outcome corrected the pooling issue and created a free-flowing drainage system that will stop water retention and continue to service the complex now being able to handle the amount of rain that comes in winter.
